ABOUT IMMORTALITY…

 Q: If there is no death, do not people grow older, become frail, ill and ultimately die? Why do people die from disease and other natural causes, as well as by sudden death through accident or in wars?  This seems to be the history of the world. Hence, how does one rationally demonstrate that there is no death?

A: True, all cultures the world over talk about death. This is no surprise since death is our deepest programmed untruth. As known by psychologists, most children about the age of seven are introduced to a belief in death.  This is due to relentless programming by parents (who were in turn programmed by their own parents, ad infinitum).  Added to this is the sadness that come to a child with the loss of grandma or grandpa, which only reinforces the belief.

       In the beginning years, young children have no notion of death.  This notion only comes to them later because it has been programmed into their consciousness at their inception. That is why a belief in death is our greatest enemy, and the most difficult hurdle to overcome and remove from our experience. That death happens, and it should not, is because of beliefs based on this idea; and as the man thinketh so it becomes a self-fulfilled, though false, prophesy.

Q: Then, how can we remove the falsity of death from our experience, from our beliefs?

A: Tell yourself: I am always that which "I AM IN SPIRIT", not what I seem to be in experience or what I have experienced in the world. No matter what I have gone through or seem to be going through, I still remain what I am in the original sense-- the Image and Likeness of God. I am ONE WITH PERFECTION, therefore, WITH NO LIMITATION, OR SEPARATION FROM GOD. Spiritual fact transcends all sense of limitation; and death is the greatest limitation and separation from God. Thus, simply by declaring to oneself and believing it-- that we are the Masters-- we erase the false programming of death and replace it with that of eternal life, youth, beauty, purity and perfection in Spirit, Mind and Body.

Q: But youth, beauty, purity and perfection seem to fade away as we grow older. Is there any remedy for this unfortunate destiny?

A: Let go of old age, white hair, birthdays and calendars that only identify you with time and space, and you will eventually look and feel much younger, like forty or less. Children and Masters are happy because they have one thing in common: they live in the timelessness and unlimited space of nothingness; material things do not mean anything to them. Living life abundantly means everything to them. Our body cells listen to our renewed and positive awareness; this is the Truth and the real Resurrection. Any Master knows this Truth.  In fact, all Masters continue and practice daily and hourly this awareness; otherwise, they would fall back on the old and false programming.  If we emulate the Masters by practicing the same, we will see no death. A famous Master said: "If a man keep my words he will never see death."
