WITH THE HIGHER POWER’S GUIDANCE, NO NON-SENSE NEW YEAR RESOLUTION…

 

DEAR FRIENDS,

 

      First, we have to love ourselves and others, by accepting differences between us and building bridges through commonalities. Generally, it is easy to unite this way, as we are meant to co-exist in oneness and compassion, because most of us want to love, be healthy, prosper, experience joy and dwell in a world of peace…

 

      We need to take care of our health by eliminating destructive stress, that is the main culprit in rendering us dis-eased, (strong negative emotions, such as hatred, anger, resentment, envy, jealousy, guilt, worry, a sense of righteousness…) in relationships, work, socially, recreationally and in our belief systems. After all everything that’s human is relative…

 

      I would quote Buddha and Don Miguel Ruiz, though they represent what we already have within, in our own making, and should choose…

 

      Buddha said: “BELIEVE NOTHING, no matter where you read it, or who said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.” I said we all have this understanding in our own making, that is why this wisdom resonate with most…

 

      Meditation may help us come in touch with the Higher Power within, and thus, be guided to reason and use our common sense, if we are really in agreement…and if not, what is the best alternative?

 

      Don Miguel Ruiz, in his best seller: FOUR AGREEMENTS (with oneself) wisely recommended:

1.   To be positive (language, emotions [love, compassion, joy, laughter…], actions…)

2.   Don’t take things personally (don’t become responsible/guilty/worried for others’ issues, which usually they are not ours…)

3.   Don’t assume! (Don’t draw uninformed conclusions, opinions about others, and situations, even about ourselves, without patient and diligent inquiry, no matter how long it takes…)

4.   Do your best! (We should not allow ourselves, and permit others to compare ourselves to others, nor any negativity…)

 

      We should choose to lose weight, not necessarily by more fat-fighting remedies and starving diets, but by adopting and incorporating more healthy habits, including a healthy diet, mostly made of organic vegetables, fruits, breads and other cereals with high content of fiber and protein, fish, and on occasions, lean poultry…

 

      Exercising moderately, but regularly for one hour a day, such as jogging, walking, being involved in other sport activities, etc.

 

      Yoga and breathing exercises…

 

      And last but not the least, spread LIGHT to the world, first by practicing ourselves the above awareness and its applications in our everyday life, daily and hourly, and thus, promote LOVE and PEACE to ourselves and all…

 

      That would bring about our personal and collective happiness, a prospering economy, and a peaceful world…

 

      IN CONCLUSION, LET’S SMILE AND CHEER UP!
